7001, the first version of the 10T. If you were the winner, looks like a good solid truck for what you paid

Re: RC10T cleanup and repair
no, still a stealth. It lacked universals and a graphite trans brace as well as a few other little things vs a later 7035 truck. It would have come with both narrow and skinny fronts, three piece wheels, steel front axles, a B stamp chassis (offset battery on very early trucks, centered on later) and thinner towers.

Re: RC10T cleanup and repair
I'd run it. It's in that gray area where it could go either way.......but if it was me, have some fun with it, and when you're done someday, then clean it up and set it on a shelf.

Re: RC10T cleanup and repair
Given that it is an early RC10T kit I would personally suggest preserving it. Get yourself a cheap RC10T3 to play with.Jimbo302 wrote:Nice, thanks.
Is it something I should try to preserve? I had planned to run it.

That's actually what I was looking for. I got this one because it came in under my $100 budget.ChisaiKuso wrote:Given that it is an early RC10T kit I would personally suggest preserving it. Get yourself a cheap RC10T3 to play with.Jimbo302 wrote:Nice, thanks.

Re: RC10T cleanup and repair
I took your advice and found a T4 roller. I doubt I can keep from taking this one out, but at least it might keep it from getting torn up.ChisaiKuso wrote:Given that it is an early RC10T kit I would personally suggest preserving it.
