Street Weapon Graphite
Re: Street Weapon Graphite
Nice clean weapon you have there! I have always had a soft spot for the SW. It was a very good handling TC. Back in it's prime I was fortunate to race & hang with Josh Cyrul and he helped me dial the car in perfectly!
I am actually, currently working on recreating 2 copies of Josh's car from that era- one for me and one for Josh himself! About a year ago I met with him and bought every SW related item he still had including his one last "Trinity Cyrul Carpet Conversion kit". When I learned that he didn't have a complete car of his own from that era, I offered to build him one too!
I plan on posting a build thread on here so stay tuned if you have the SW bug too!

Re: Street Weapon Graphite
Hi there,
Nice street weapon you have there.
I am currently re-building mine that had not seen the light of day since I ran it in the 90's.
Have you (or others) had issues with the Tough Racing rear belt being too wide? I've ordered a set, gone to install them but found that the rear belt was too wide causing it to bind on the flanges of the rear pulley and the opposing pulley on the idler Causes a LOT of friction in a drive train that is already tight being a 3 belt system...
The side and front Tough belts (which are the same) are slightly narrower and don't have that problem...
Has anyone else had that?

My buddy just bought the sealed kit that was on eBay for the past few weeks. Can't wait to see it when we bust the shrink wrap and build a car up with itSplat! wrote:"Trinity Cyrul Carpet Conversion kit"
