That's very cool, Dan. I love how small it is...but I'm going the opposite route with a project, I'm in the planning stages of building a compact arcade cabinet...I want it as small as possible, but still be big enough to have two joysticks and at least a dozen buttons, because some of my favorite games as a teen were Williams games like Defender, Stargate and Robotron. They're fun to play on my computer with MAME and a gamepad-type controller, but it's just not the same as playing on arcade-style controllers and big buttons.
I have a tiny laptop, the biggest 4:3 LCD monitor I could find (old 19" Dell) and all the wood...just need the budget to buy the controls and a USB interface for the controls-to-laptop, then the construction can begin.
