Yes bullet connectors can handle a lot of current, but in high power/draw systems I have seen the cage type bullets get hot enough to melt stuff.
The first time not realizing the meltdown no it was to hot.

After a few more tests the wires get hot before motor this is within 30-45 seconds driving.

Gonna do motor swap see if it changes if not we move to ESC.

Replacing your wires & connectors if they're overheating, to me, is like putting in a stronger fuse when the fuse is blowing. Certainly an immediate fix, but doesn't really address the problem source.

For sure, I’m just going from least expensive to most and eliminate one at a time. Getting ready to swap motors tonight or tomorrow.

Okay almost burned the car down lucky I didn’t have the body on it I was able to turn it off and yank off the flaming esc cap before it did anymore damage

New ESC arrives Friday going to run the Wurks Digital 3 from Rotor Ron with all the do dads and thingamabobs with WiFi.
