Replacing your wires & connectors if they're overheating, to me, is like putting in a stronger fuse when the fuse is blowing. Certainly an immediate fix, but doesn't really address the problem source.

this isn't the first time I've heard of the Novak GTB doing this type of thing.
Man first I heard of that, been running these since 2005 have one in every car with spares but guess what Im out of spares now since I messed one up myself, one burned down and one just stopped working properly.
Time to move on and let go of my love of Novak products..............................................

Has this move to calculating correct pinion gearing for motors in consideration of tire circumference arisen due to the predominance of truggies and monster-truck-style RC cars over the past decade? Tire circumference never seemed to matter that...
Just another project here, this time one inspired by a chassis plate and parts from RC-Lohas. I suspected from the photos that an RC-10 DS nose plate would bolt on which it did! 8) Then, inspired by a HotShot by Grahoo, I used mostly stock parts...

That'll be pretty good when it's done.
Thank you! I have just built some Vintage Parma Big Bore shocks for the front, so making a little progress at least!
I just installed this ESC, in my recently build RC10WC, coupled with a reedy 17.5T mach2 540 motor and I have the following 2 issues which I am hoping someone could help answer for me:

I'm no expert on the HotShot by any means but I do know that RC Lohas are producing some cvds for the front. It might be worth checking with them to see whether they fit the standard HotShot as well as their red HotShot. See here:
I had a couple free hours left in the hotel during my last weekend in Japan.
Still had the company car, toll-road card and creditcard for gas too... So I decided I could aswell take a trip to the next prefecture and check out the local RC-shop. I...

The race version of the MR4-BC (called a Special and only identified on the box by a sticker, in true...
I was just thinking back to when batteries would only last 3-4 minutes. I could not turn my car on until the race was ready to go or else I would have no more juice at the end.
Times sure have changed for the better.
