From 2008 to now ... / From a kind of barn find to a shelf queen
Hello everyone,
I'm happy to show you a project started last year.
Not vintage, but not too far as well
A 2008 HOTBODIES 12X Pan-Car chassis
I applyed my touch like on my other chassis; stainless steel A2 screws, anodising removal, polishing of alloy parts
BEFORE :
AFTER :
This is the story ...
On its arrival :
Some new parts collected via internet and someoes after anodising removal :
The built :
With all those pnew parts i can build an other chassis
Here is the result :
Now i hope to find some alloy wheels and unconventional body
To be continued ...
Jerome

I must get an xray pan car! I like it very much. Though, I would have to sneak it past my wife....maybe have it delivered to my workplace?

Jerome,
awhile back I was kinda screwed out of a car from a guy in Romania(?). He had a couple pair of front alloys for pan cars but when I searched through his saved wheels it brought me to I guess ebay Europe that had a bunch of 1/12 scale alloys. most wouldn't ship to the USA and I don't really have a need for any at the moment or then so I just assumed they would still be around. You search through oople at all or any of those other type places? I rarely see any 1/12 scale alloys on this part of the globe.
