Esc connection to reciever

I replaced my kyosho's outrage msc with this hobbywing 1060 esc and i was wondering where i should put the esc connector. It is strugling to go to channel 2 and if i plug it there the batt plug remains empty, with the old msc the on off switch was there. If i must plug it to channel 2 the batt remains vacant?

It gets plugged into channel 2 and nothing goes in the battery slot. Make sure the white wire goes to the inside. You may have to get an exacto and slightly shave the bottom corners of the plug so it plugs in nice.

I would recommend F/B/R which is Forward, Brake and Reverse. Much easier on the gearbox and is quite a bit more drivable.
