I scored this original Hotshot from ebay....gonna do a full restoration...these are ebay pics as i dont have car yet so stay tuned for the "Real Deal"

Nice score! I've never had a Hotshot myself. Are you restoring to shelf status or a runner?

I'm definitely no expert but except for the body and wing, the car appears to be intact.
Should be a fun restoration project.
Looking forward to updates.
By chance have you seen this:


I'm guessing the gold wheels on your car are original while the white ones on Matteo's car are re-re?

I have seen that video, he makes it look iconic. Not sure what i am gonna do on wheels yet

Are you thinking modern wheels/tires or something vintage style? That's the battle I always have with 80's cars and trucks.

It will be 80s tires and wheels, prolly Hotshots but Egress style wheels could look cool

Cool. I have 2 NIP pairs of Tamiya 5270 Pin Spike front tires if you're interested. I don't have a 4WD buggy at this point so I have no use for them.

Here’s a set of white lightweight wheels on mine, the Egress black versions will look cool too

Its cool but just goin with a certain look if i can....used technigold closing in 45 mins....wish luck! Rather have a Technipower, but those are rarer than LeMans 240SB's!!
