Digital servo Help please

Post by Crutchy »

Silly question but i'm getting back into racing after a long break and was trying to source some decent servos for my vintage racing.
Will the new digital servos work with my older Novak NES-2X and vintage Tekin receivers?
I have a collection of NOS Futaba magnum, KO EX-7 and EX-9 transmitters and my original Futaba 2PD AM on 27Mhz and id like to use them again.

Kind Regards

I haven't had any issues, but I am not racing, just driving around the local park. It may be that the speed and torque are affected and I just can't tell.

I have used newer digital servos with my old AM receivers with no issues. I usually put a large capacitor on the batt plug on the receiver to reduce brown outs since the newer servos draw a bit more voltage than the old analog ones. The cap also reduces voltage spikes on the receiver side to mitigate glitching.
