Bulk EC3 connectors

Has anyone used any of the bulk EC3 connectors with luck. I'm referring to the packs available on Amazon and Ebay. Some seem to have mixed reviews but I wonder how much is just user error.

I've only ever used Dynamite branded ones. While they work well, buying single connectors gets a little pricey. And I don't particularly like their "half-cup" wire connection.

It's not the sorta feedback you were searching for but, for what it's worth, I received a pack of these el'cheapo EC5 connectors today from fleabay.
Dimensionally same as IC5 at a fraction of the cost. If I can find two good pair from this bag, it will be worth it.
Hopefully they won't cause a fire but if you don't hear from me again soon, look for my name in the Alabama obituaries.
