So I picked up some wheels for my JRX-T project off Ebay, a full set of each orange and wild red. I could tell from the pics they were pretty beat up, but I think they will clean up good enough for a runner. They are however more faded than I was hoping for.

Has anyone had any luck re-dying wheels back to close to the original color?

Does anyone have a recipe for Losi Orange and Wild Red?

I have a nice set of red Jrx Pro wheels that are faded like they sat in the sun and was wondering if there is a way to bring them back.

Yah while both bleach and leaving out in direct sunlight comes to mind unfortunately they both make the plastic brittle. (I did see the I kid.. ) :)

I did some using RIT dye. They turned out great. No other additives. What the...................the great white ghost was here :lol:

Ok so i've dyed white parts black using the Rit powder with good results.... (apart from messing up my camping stove lol!)

Thing is, in my quest to find a set of the pink ribbed face Yokomo wheels i've ended up with a nice new set of white wheels...

hey i just got an rc10 gold pan buggy and i want to know what can you clean the white parts in to make them bright white again

So while polishing up one of my chassis I managed to over polish a have grey spots on a black chassis.
The anodize is still present so I don't think aluminum black would work. Has anyone come up with a way to darken faded dye.
