Shock towers need ID'ed

Hey team! I found these in my pile of nonsense RC10 parts. Anyone know the brand? The mounting holes are counter sunk.

With respect to Joey (jkracing) I'm going to start this thread so anyone could easily find the RC10T2 mod in it's own thread, and not go digging for it.

But first a little back history on the RC10T and its 1994 ROAR NATIONALS prototype shock...

So im going to be ordering some shock towers for my rc10. I just want to make sure im ordering the correct ones.

My car is a ce with the stock .71 shocks in the front and 1.32 in the rear.

I might want to go to the big bore shocks one day but not...

are they switchable? Is the mounting hole position the same? Can I put a T2 tower on a B2 and vice versa?

Whats the best way to clean these up without ruining them? Are they Clorox Safe?

I have some fibreglass parts that will not clean up how I would like so I am going to have a go at dying them black.Can any body tell me the best way of doing this.

Just clean them as much as possible and sand the edges lightly so they are flat...

I'm doing a restoration right now and would like black towers. Can I dye the fiberglass shock towers with Rit dye easily or should I just source black towers? If I can dye, how long should they be in the boiling dye water?

I've dyed them in the past, and as stated above, it will take really well, it just needs more time.

I have never seen very many of them.

The ones I have seen are in a pack of the 2.

There is a NIP set on E-bay at the moment.

I am planning a early 10T build with the ones I have.

:)

It's a shame 20 year old me tossed like a huge box full...
