Nice little package of Speed Passion gear arrived today.... Reventon S and Stock Club Race ESCs, 17.5R motor, as well as a USB programmer and instructions. Got these for a good price, too

I picked up a TERX 75AM and TSC 411P set. They came attached to a nice 12L carrying case. I'll probably look to see if someone else needs this nice 12L because I have a few of them already.

Got some new RC10 universals from JC Racing. It is kinda weird, as I have never actually seen universals that weren't completely worn out.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Got some motors and motor parts. They looked better in pictures than in person, so I probably overpaid.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Not exactly RC related but it is forum related.
I've been thinking of getting a 12" Galaxy tab for a while. They popped up on sale at Amazon, so I had to do it.
Here it is, with my old 10" Samsung and a 8" Fire tab.

Glad to help out and save that nice RC10 Graphite bulkhead from a double amputation.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
After seeing Amain raise the price $30 *AND* start collecting state sales tax I had a bit of a 'get off my butt and get one' moment with the Super Clodbuster. Michael's RC Hobbies has been my big purchase place a couple of times now. I immediately got some eye rolls and a slew of sighs from the wife, but the need for the SCB was too strong to be denied.
Now I need to figure out the minimum mandatory upgrades for the build. Bearings, steel pinions (Robinson 13T 0.6mod?), 1 or 2 good steering servos, some chassis trim locations for more steering capability? I'm sure it's all documented, just have to dig.

Or…… also stretch it out a wee bit
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
