Nick Adams and his motors were very popular in Austria and Germany too.
Well, I know Nick loved going to the Pörtschach International Offroad Races.
He loved the Austrian food.
And the motors, speedos and batteries which he had in the trunk of his car usually were gone by the end of the race.

I decided a Demon was the right motor for this buggy. I think it belongs in there.

Would anybody be able to identify this motor? I am looking at making some simple upgrades to my old RC10, but I don't want to put lots of $ into it...just something to get it going again. I have the stock speed control and am looking into upgrading...

Interesting dating and unit number comparison there if you think about it.
Mine was unit number 780 from week 40, and just 3 weeks later yours was unit number 831. So 51 units between them. I am guessing Nick wasn't making various speedo models at...
Not electronics as such, but I got these old Demon decals today !
I am still looking for the really old prismatic red ones, but in the meantime these are pretty great to find.
