Re: 93 Kinwald rc10 worlds build
I was inspired to do this build as well (sometime in the future). You were lucky and motivated to source all those small vintage details. Look forward to following this cool build. Is that an after-market Hydra^drive for the stealth? Nice...

Looking forward to watching this one, the milled motor plate looks great. The wide five is such a cool looking front tire.
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

Wow! Great looking stash. Should make an amazing build. I love those front tires.
Who did the milling work on the motor plate? Looks great.

Didn’t know these existed until recently. They look just like them missing a rib of course, but I do believe they are thinner.

I have a pair of Quatro's I've been sitting on for at least 15 years waiting for the right car to put them on. I apparently haven't built it yet.

At one point I had like 7 pairs of the quatro's but slowly sold them over the years and kept one set to be used someday.

Very cool build. I look forward to seeing your updates! I, too am working towards a World's Car build, but more of what mine was like back in 94 rather than a true BK replica. I'll be sure to make a thread when I begin my build.

Looking at the first photo, my first thought was "wow, I didn't realize how much Losi stuff it took to make an AE car work" {zipping up flame-proof suit}
Hydra drive was such a cool thing at the time! Just one more thing we lost to the smooth sticky tracks I suppose.
Looking forward to this build. RIP Mr Kinwald.
