Yokomo WCS93 - Masami Replica
Big thanks to Hyung, DerbyDan, Cedric, Jeff, Asa, Lee, Peakey, Masami and everyone who helped!
I had a real headache sorting out the front and rear pitch belts/diffs/TCS, initially I was going for M2 up front and M3 to rear but then Dan and I realised (and it's already detailed in his and AlexB's threads) this would result in differing ratios - I had a chat with Mr. Hirosaka and he said he tested this setup (as reviewed in the mags) and it wasn't good so I should go for M3 front and back......the car is not yet finished as I'm waiting on some more parts in order to make the front M3 pitch. Once they arrive and I finalise the car I'll post more pics, in the meantime I couldn't resist taking this pic of it sitting on it's wheels.
Novak HPC to be fitted, Reedy Ultra already fitted - this will eventually be run with saddle LiPo's but all other electrics will be vintage
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Yokomo WCS93 - Masami Replica
Thanks guys!
A lot of research and asking a lot of the great guys in our hobby - Masami helped too which was very kind of him.
By chance I had a lot of the parts in my boxes lying around but the wcs specific bits had to come from around the globe. I must say being in Muscat is like being on a desert island - less than zero R/C here, no stores, no tracks, nada. Thank god for the internet and forums like 10talk!
I'm not one for posting the end product before the detailed build pics but in this case I just couldn't wait any longer
Cheers,
Dan

@wydraz Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I was wondering what parts did you end up using for your m3 driveline? I'm have a build and would like to run m3 as well. Thank you!

Hey number 7 unfortunately Dan passed away a couple of years ago. There are some pretty knowledgeable yokomo guys on here so I’m sure someone will be able to help you out
Re: Yokomo WCS93 - Masami Replica
Wow, I am sorry to hear that and my apologies if contacting him was inappropriate. If it means anything, my heart goes out to his loved ones.
And yes thank you, I will try some other folks regarding my questions.
