Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!! And Joel even signed my box!
Hopefully this doesn't develop into the need to also turn an original into a race replica. I already got rid of the Ultima that I had for that cancelled plan.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Kyosho wants too much for this one, for my cheapass anyway. Otherwise, I'd have to get one if it were in the $300 neighborhood. And I backed out of my intention to order the RC10CC, due to the fact AE hinted that 2024 has more to come. Even though I have an inkling I might regret it.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 12:33 pm Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!! And Joel even signed my box!

The $75 Tower discount code back in August was a nice decision maker for me.
It will be interesting to see what AE really has planned in 2024.

I'm slowly draining the UK of it's national treasures.... one Demon motor at a time.

Also was tipped off to a stockpile of vintage Traxxas. Thanks TRX-1-3!

Most "pregnant" post I have seen in a while. What are you cutting from that?

A little rear camber link adapter plate. I'll probably burn thru the whole thing before I get it right. So, I'm really making ten rectangular CF key fobs I guess.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

As soon as it came I had it apart and rebuilt. Not perfect but I'm just excited to have a Pro Box.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Was searching ESC's for the RC10B4 Factory Team and found this LRP SXX Stock Spec V2. Also picked up a Tekin Speed Star 412P for the Traxxas SRT. And some no clue super clean motor with a Trinity Ex Tech label and purple Epic end bell, but its cool looking and nice enough to justify $35. Seller stated, "Vintage Trinity 19T modified brushed motor brand new never used. Applied an original Trinity experimental team decal that is new and absolutely original not reproduction.". No idea how much truth to it.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got some old skool 1:12 parts in the mail, to start making a recent acquisition look a little better.
NIP front and rear Yokomo / ASSociated foams, 12L rear wing (well, mostly just a flat bit of lexan!), a NIP front bumper, and some spur gears. All came together, for what I consider a good price.
Clear all the Vintage Bash trucks off the bench, and maybe start to strip down this 1:12....
Well, maybe

Osiris is the key.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
There's a person that has been selling out of production Trinity NOS parts and has also had those motor decals. I got one with a pit stand and have compared to the Trinity motors. I think the decals are authentic.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
All my remaining Traxxas gearbox and drive line part needs showed up. Well, other than a motor plate and the screws to put it together. For the motor plate I need to determine if I adapt one or hold out for finding a unicorn.
