im looking for the nice rims and tires to fit my rc10 championship edition im going to only run it as a street car so im gonna get a 57 chevy car body for it so id like the rims and tires to look like hot rod style
For direct bolt-on, smaller on-road style rims and tires, you'll wanna go with those from the rc10DS. Ebay will be your best bet. If you want taller spoke rims, you can try to find hpi wide front 2.0 stars and 2.0 rears and mount up some custom works street tires. Lastly, you can go the pan car tire route (as in the picture you posted), but you'll need find some rear adapters that allow you to screw the rear rims on.
Ok I'm at my wits end with this and I would like any help. I missed the boat when they were making tires and rims for the RC10 a few years back. I know there are rims still being made by JConcepts but tires are the bane of my existence. I'm willing...

I did dye the wheels for the Houge before I painted them.
Totally forgot about that until just now
They took dye as well as any other nylon I have done.

Thanks Chuck, that’s good to know. I could order a few sets in white then dye...
I wanted to build a 6 gear runner and ran across this. It was $85 buy now. I'm not sure what chassis that is. (composite craft?) But it has a lot of custom parts on it. All titanuim. Turnbuckles, ball studs and TIN hinge pins, light speed heat sink,...
I found this A&L underbelly pan today at my local hobby shop peeking out of a box. I purchased it for the acual sticker price!!! Maybe i'll put it on my early edinger and run it hard n' fast.....NEVER!!! A nice find that made my day!! :D

I found one in a 50% off bin a while back. I traded it to someone here for something.  Ugh...fragmented memory.
I've been depleting my stockpile of Proline Road Hawgs and Strikers and have moved on to CustomWorks since they are readily available still. I have used some Dirt Hawgs for 2.2s with success but the fronts are now like hens teeth and the rears are...

I have Duratrax Banditos on this one.
Yup, I use Banditos as well. JConcepts Diamond Bars in the front.
I have a set of stock foam tires for the DS, but I'd like to set this up in a way it can take modern tires.
I'm looking to bash on pavement, maybe some light dirt if there is a flat enough area. The battery will be a Nimh but the motor is slated to...

You just ream the hole to 1/8 . A couple of mine have them.
Ive used the axle/c-hubs from the associated SC10 4x4. And as Juicedcoupe mentioned, you ream the hinge pin hole to 1/8 in order to accommodate the larger diameter DS hinge pin.
Rather than continue to burn up nice Pro-Line and JC Concepts off-road buggy tires with spikes, are there any recommendations on tires that will be a little hardier? Something with a square tread block possibly if something like that exists. Bar...

The Dirt Hawgs come with foam as do most tires today. However I don't cut them down to fit inside. I cram all of the foam inside the tire. It makes them nice and stiff. When I'd cut the foam to fit better I found the tires to be too soft in the...
I have worn my first set of RC10 Classic kit tires down until the front tires are shredded. I'd like to run something rubber on the kit wheels. Any suggestions?
