Re: Post your fleet pics
Here is my small fleet of RC10s...i don't mind small, it makes me seem like i'm not compensating for other things I keep telling myself that it's all in how you use them.
sorry for the crapy lighting!

I'm just going to touch up the paint a bit and leave it on there. Did you buy that car new in NZ? I like the collage, good idea! Thanks for the compliments on the Scamp. They're not real common over here either at least in the pre-73 variety. They just got a bit more homely after that. (Don't tell but I actually have two of them! )FasterLouder wrote:OK guys-Here's mine...Scampi-I love that you've now got my old JRX Pro!
That paint was rescued from 1990!
I really dig your Plymouth Scamp, too. I doubt there's even one Scamp in all of NZ.
Aaah well, here goes...There were several cars missing from the group shot,so I got all arty and made a collage, too
I'll get 'em all outside and do another shoot, when this rain quits.
Thanks for starting this thread,man!
That paint on the Pro was laid down in 1990,here in NZ by the first owner (not me).
Glad you're going to just touch it up!
I had to remove three layers of three differebt colored paint on the outside to uncover that old school paint.
I think it's cool to see cars travel the world amongst friends, too.

Yeah, i thought I found a few spots of a different color on there! Now tell me how you removed it! Was it on the outside?

Re: Post your fleet pics
The picture is 1 year old at least and only includes my RC10's. Some projects there are now finished and I bought a few more '10's since then, but here you go:

Re: Post your fleet pics
Great collections fellas!
New member here...thought I'd add my small fleet.
Plan to make it "grow"...adding some of the cars I used to own BITD, along with ones I always wanted, but never could afford at the time. Raced HEAVILY in the mid 80's up until @ '91, then sold off everything when I moved to WA. My weapon of choice back then was an RC10, had a few of 'em...
Scale R/C rock crawlers are what got me back into the RC "scene", that and I bought an old RC10 cheap to rebuild.....now have the itch for more vintage RC's...haha!
Some great restorations going on here....
Here's my "stuff"...
2.5 T-Maxx
3.3 Revo
Axial AX-10 2.2 Scaler
1.9 Toyota Scaler....mostly scratch-built (I always wanted a Bruiser...hehe)
1.9 Subaru Brat Scaler project...scratch-built
Losi Mini-T
Team Associated RC10 resto project

I've only got two cars right now, I'm a racer and racers sell cars to get new cars. That's what I keep telling myself anyway. I have no room for a bunch of cars in my little apartment. The Losi is my baby, but the rc10 is my new car, it's getting a lot of attention right now

Re: Post your fleet pics
Finally snapped a couple of pics. My hybrid jrx2(H-arm)/traxxas bullet car is currently in pieces. Most are waiting for me to clean them up as you can well see. The Jr and goldpan are freshly rebuilt.
