I had in my hands, thought it was pretty big, but I have only average hands (european average)

The 3gr is great value for the dollar - that is why I recommend it. Most people will still only use 60% of the features of the 3GR. One terrific feature is the adjustable stick height...I like em short myself.

If you get a chance - have a look at one - I am confident you will walk out with it.

Im still running my original faviorite from 87,Acoms tecniplus.To activate servo reverse you simply undo the gimble and spin it round.Talk about features,this things full of them.
