Flip both upper and lower and it will be nicely aligned.
see fig 144 and 145 on page 36 of the manual(page 38 of the PDF) http://aedownloads.com/downloads/manuals/rc10_manual.pdf

it mostly was. the front shock was frozen somehow, and the arm had a bad crack in it. came with no body, and I want to update the electronics.

You may also want to move the rear suspension mounts that bolt to the chassis to the rear holes. It will bring the rear suspension arms forward on the chassis and align the dogbones better while also allowing the rear shocks to line up better with the rear arms. It cleaned up nicely!

you can't do that with the old bulkhead without notching it out. and if that's something you don't want to do for one reason or another, .....................

I would have left it as is and just gave it a good scrub, but it looks like you're doing a nice restoration so far.

I think back when I was a kid I just ground off the forward most hole on the rear suspension mounts. I wonder what the norm was for the majority..

That paint turned out well. Was it a shake-shake can? If so what kind? I need a good paint for some projects I am working on. Also, it has been forever, but I know that is a Tamiya ball end on the rear camber link! This is my first post so a big Texas hello to everyone. This has to be the bestest site for vintage r/c! :D

highwayracer wrote:Welcome Trey,

Nice car...looks very "period correct". All the original parts appear to be on the car...which is becoming very rare these days.

Well, it "WAS" a nice period correct rare car. This is a perfect example of why these are rare these days. I guess Im old school but to me its just another died black belly button now. Everyone has one!
