I'm sure that even after they stop seling the re-releases they will double in value so it's probably a wise investment.

yea i can see them selling for $500 a year or two after they stop selling them. even the xr311 jeep thing was at 300-400 dollars for the re-re

yea it looks cool and id like to have one..i just wanted it to be like $100 less...i think its just the sigh of the times..$340 is alot more for me now then it was a year ago..

Longboard, if it was $100 they would sell like crazy. I'm sure it has to cost a lot money to retool the plant to produce those again. They haven't produced them in a couple decades. So it probably is a pretty fair price in the sceme of things. After all they aren't out to make money. :lol:

its all good 8) i just didnt want people to think i said they should be $100...all in all i really wanted them to be under $300..and as for what people say they will be worth later..that dont matter to me cause i try to never sell stuff

I hear ya. I have sold three rc's in the last year I regret. I also sold a rough rider when I was 17 for $10 (not a typo) REALLY regret that one.

yea but when i was 17 it was like throw out this beat rc car ,or spend lots of cash to fix it up ,or get $10.. $10 was the way to go back then 8)

Yeah I know but that car is worth a lot more now. I had three complete sets of front ends, extra chassis pieces. Almost enough parts to build two spare cars

The thing about backordering from tower is that you will be last in the world to get one. The asian sellers will probably have them out on the market a few weeks earlier than tower can get them in and out to you.
