What do I have? Light gold A code RC10 pan

Post by Grumbles »

Hey Guys. As you can see by my rating I'm new to this so any help as much or little you can give
about it is greatly appreciated. I enjoy learning, so give this novice a good schooling :D.

I just received a gold pan in a deal today that looked a little odd to me. It's chassis color is much
lighter than I've seen before and it almost seems sun faded compared with its nose plate, but I
haven't seen many to actually compare my findings to... That's why I've come to you, the experts.
The only thing that I can think to tell you is of the odd color and that there is an A stamped in the
chassis. If there is anything I need to look for to help you help me Please let me know and Thanks!

Toss a pic up, it sounds like a "early production" ie-Edinger chassis, if the noseplate is "orange-gold", it was prob replaced with a "middle-late" ie-Caddilac noseplate

Do the shocks & motor plate match the chassis color?

I'll have to take a few pics and post them tomorrow since it's still in the box at work. I had it out for a few minutes today when I got it and noticed the color was off and if I remember correctly nothing matched.... nose, chassis, or motor plate, but my mind isn't what it used to be or I would of had pics to put up.

Tune in tomorrow. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay. I dug out the chassis so I could take pic's and realized that I made a mistake in this post. It's an A stamped chassis, but it's that orange gold you refered to, not light gold I thought it was (the nose and rear plate are lighter, ADD kicked in). Anyway I really would appreciate any history or info you could provide no matter what it is.

Basher or Beauty Queen... Please let me know and thanks!
