Introduced in 1991 the Storm utilized a belt driven transmission and rides the same aluminum chassis as the Cougar 2 buggy:

Recently finished this after 2 years of on/off building

Nice example.

Love my Storm - originaly bought it for its red chassis for a Cougar 2 project, but rebuilt it around an old pan and tried it out of curiosity, and it's great fun.

Got a fresh shell to spray up for it at some stage

Hi All,
Had a lot of interest in a Schumacher Shtogun when I was a kid.

I have a cougar re-re, and would like some Shotgun/Storm wheels.

HELP: Can someone please measure the offset of a set for me?

From the back edge of the rim to the bottom of...

Hi there,

Here is a Storm wheel. Measures should be sort of ok.
From the back edge of the rim to the bottom of the castle: 12ish mm.
Front to surface of wheel nut: 32,5ish mm.

I found this this weekend during the fourth at a yard sale, I paided $30 for it, it seems to be used just a few times, its very cleam, boady was never painted, and I have box, decals, and window mask, I don't have a manual for the truck,b ut I do...

I'm trying to find an original manual, photocopies or a good high resolution quality scan for the first CAT (short wheelbase).

More importantly, I need the back few pages with part numbers/bag numbers. I'm missing some pieces of my SWB puzzle, and...
