Any Mac or Safari Users?

Post by Halgar »

Update! We think we have the search feature fixed. Please give it another try and let me know how it goes. Thanks everyone.

We need people with Macs and Safari to come and check our site.
http://www.bestvacuumreviews.com/

Specifically, I need someone with a Mac/Safari setup to test our search feature (at the top left of ALL our pages) and our review submission form http://www.bestvacuumreviews.com/vacuum-reviews.html).

Even if you don't have a Mac/Safari set up, all visitors are welcome. It would be a great help if you'd have a look around and even submit a vacuum review. Don't worry if you don't see your brand/model listed, all reveiws help.

If you have any comments or problems with the site you can use the contact form or tell me here.

Thanks guys

Works fine in Mozilla/Firefox 3.0.12 and Mozilla Camino 1.6.8 but falls down a deep, dark well in Safari 4.0.1. Reviews sent properly in Safari, so you should get something through the MailSend.

Thank you guys, much appreciated. My technogeek has been working on all this as fast as she can. There may be some Explorer limitations as well.

I'll post back when we make a few adjustments for you guys to test it again.

Explorer has limitations in and of itself. They stopped supporting IE for Mac more than 5 years ago. I don't design for IE on the Mac at all anymore. Waste of time.

I wasn't specifically referring to Mac based Explorer, but thanks for the info, I'll pass it along. 8)

... She says she wasn't planning on designing for Mac/Explorer.

Yeah, there's a problem with both Explorer and Safari. The resident technogeek thinks she knows what it is. Hopefully by Friday she'll have some fixes.
