All, This is the CE car I swapped for the JRX2 car I was messin with awhile back. It's missing the front-end parts, but a really clean and straight chassis and the parts that are there are in excellent shape. The fella I traded, swears it's a CE car. here's a few pics.
well, just going by the front shock tower on my opinion, if that tower was originally on that car, it's a short arm gold pan. not a ce. the ce had the shock tower with 4 shock location holes on either side, with the wide arms.
That's why I posted in the general forum about the CE cars. I really thought it was a short arm car,but........
a good start for one as I don't have a really clean 6-gear A-car. Still a good score though. Thanks for the replies fellas.
I'll keep you posted on progress.I do have a few sets of short arms and some stuff to get it close to finished.
thanks fellas.
All,I got as far as I could go with my 6-gear RC 10,so I went ahead and did a bit more hobbyin' today. Here's what I ended up with.I'm still missing some small stuff but she's coming along nicely.I have a new Pro-Tech II body, and trans cover waiting.
Toymaker, here's a couple pics of the Protech 1 and 2,pics are a bit tough to see well, but you can get an idea. The protech 2 is defenitely pulled from lighter material

So this thing has been sitting as parts in plastic bags for almost a year, so I decided to build it. :D I still need a bunch of parts to finish it off, but it's a good start. I have some NIP wheels but not enough screws to attach them to the hubs....

The Cross C-hubs look good, had to put a spacer in (you can just see blue spacer in photo) to much slop with out it. I used the 0 deg c-hubs think they do a 5 deg ones as well & i had to...
I recently aquired a bnib 6010 edinger kit and am just torn between assembling and shevling it or keeping it in the box and keeping all the baggies unopened. I meen it is just too cool sitting there in the box unbuilt. But it would alao be awsome to...

IMG_3870.JPG The family CFO gave me the green light for a new system. It's the first new one in 6 years. I'm replacing a Dell XPS system I spec'd back then. A few upgrades here and there and it still gets the job done for the most part with the Core...
