Airbrush not spraying

I'm having problems getting my airbrush to spray paint or even water for that matter. Its fairly clean and has worked before with no problems. I'm running it at about 40 psi. Any thoughts on whats going on?

Nevermind. I got it figured out. I think that the needle wasn't seated right in the nozzle.

hey guys, got my hands on a 10T, and after seeing some of the great painted chassis's on the board (there is a brilliant white one...if I can find the thread)

how does one go about doing this? my chassis has a few scratches in it, so would need to...

Thanks, I bookmarked that! They do some impressive powdercoating work there. I'll have to keep them in mind for the Charger, for when money's not so tight!

Long title I know, but some things just can't be avoided. Like burning the roof of your mouth on that first Pizza Roll, wearing your fingers to the bone assembling brand new turnbuckles, or waking up next to a fat chick after doing tequila shots in...

Silver is opaque but will darken lighter colors its painted on top of.
Use white to prevent darkening.

I do PS1 White then PS12 Silver before over coating that with PS5 Black for show shells.
Total blackout so body colour can't be seen thru...

I purchased an air brush some ten years ago for the Testors acrylic model paints. I think I may have used it once since I bought it until the last few months. So far I have painted at least two RC10 bodies and one Stampede body with Parm FastColor...

I've recently purchased an airbrush compressor, with a few airbrushes, tips, hoses, etc. And, since the weather here in WI is less than adequate to paint outdoors, I'm looking to get ideas on how I can set something up in my basement utility room....

My station is temporary, and easy to put up and take down as needed. Most everything just gets thrown inside it, and then it gets thrown under a table. The top of the cabinet is my charging station most of the time.

Its a simple 24x24 , 1x2 , frame...

Recently started airbrushing and using proline… it scratches off inside very easy. I’ve noticed others have had similar experience even after backing the paint in a Rustoleum or krylon clear. Anyone else using a brand different than proline and had...

Acrylic paints are quite soft when dry and easily scratched as a whole , the only solution is to put a final coat of a more durable paint on to back it .
I'm moving over to Acetone based paints but you really need to use a fume extraction paint...

I think you did a good job! I've used airbrushes for various hobbies over the years and while there is a learning curve, they produce excellent results with a little practice and understanding. Painting backwards is also another level of complexity....

Well I've picked an airbrush, next thing is paint, what is everybody using?
Createx seems to be widely available, was looking at the regular airbrush paint, does it stick to lexan?
i see they have other types, Wicked and Auto Air, just not sure...

if your going to do camo there are alot of curved lines go for a x acto swivel knife ... anouther learning curve but works well for curved lines
