Obscure advert in RCCA.

Post by 8rad »

Hi,

This is a shot in the dark but does anyone remember or have a scan of the advertisement for a 4wd car called Krypton or Krylon or something like that. I have this vague recollection of it in the back pages of RCCA between 1990 and 1995. All I remember is that it had a unique a-arm configuration with really long inboard hinge pins and a lime green body. The ad may not even have been for the buggy but something else.

Unfortunately I threw out all my old RCCA's years ago and the archives dont have adverts.

Cheers

There is an archive of all the old RCCA's - i think on mikedealer's web page? I think if you do a search for RCCA it should come up in a topic.

Reedy had a motor line called Krypton so it may have been an ad for them.

Only half match I could find is this:

All the full-page ads have been cropped from the PDFs on the RCCA site. If you have an approximate time I can search my collection too, 1989 up through 2003 or so. I need to organize it to sell right now anyway.
