Stealth C.E.

Post by Charlie don't surf »

Well, I threw a bid in on this car--and just forgot about it, figured I could salvage a few parts off it for one thing or another. And of course, I didn;t expect to win it with the bid I had in- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280462340525&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Turns out that this little bugger needed.

New rear tires, new rear shock bodies and a new gear cover-
Eventually I need to replace the chassis for the scratches ( ok )
but suprisingly all the parts were perfectly white, not stained and in 99% shape!

The bad thing is now I need to find new chassis, instead of getting some parts for other cars!

I was watching that auction. That is a pretty sweet deal I think. Just think, if you make it a shelf queen, nobody will ever see the scratches on the bottom!

Really, and this is odd for me--I kinda like the scratches on this one. All the parts are pristine it's like someone built it, took it for 1 run then forgot about it.

I was a little worried one I realized I won it ( 3 days later  ) but when it showed I was tickled!

It's like patina on a cool old hot rod. Sometimes the scratches add to the car's character and desirability, for me anyway.
