That last on-road track was pretty cool, I was there back in 1990.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I heard it had been demo'd years ago.

I've never seen 8th scale onroad in person but it looks completely badass...even from wayback when that video was made. I can only imagine how fast the new 8th scale onroad cars are. Too bad there are no onroad tracks anywhere near me.

Well, I swore I wouldn’t start a new off topic subject tonight, but here I am… I’ve written numerous emails to editors of various r/c mags over the past 5 years asking them to please write a definitive book about the origin/history of r/c. I mean...

What is the relationship between LRP and Associated? How long has LRP been around? Their website doesn't have a History or About Us tab. I see they also have a line of cars, anygood?

So, after seeing this listed on EBay I made my mind up that I just had to own it. Something about the 'look' of it with its trailing wide-arm stance and the strange looking shell. And after a hefty bid, I became the new owner. The seller (Dennis)...
