TL01 chassis gets dirt

Post by muck »

Is there a way or some kind of shield to put around or in the motor housing to help keep dirt out of the gears?

I am fixing my nephews TL01 again. Seems sand creeps up between the motor and into the spur area. Then it gets into the rear diff area.
I thought about putting a little foam around the front of the motor. Do you think that melt?
