Trinity Power Plus Shocks?

Post by RCveteran »

Picked these up but no nothing about them. What years were these made, how rare are they, were they a decent shock?

There is an RCCA article where they pimped out a Nissan Kingcab and used these shocks. They surprisingly did not like them AND reported it in the article. Missing parts in the package and lots of leakage.

Seems nowadays anything that is tested in one of these mags gets good reviews...

I have a Clod with 8 shocks of unknown brand, and looking at these it appears to be them. They aren't anodized though.

If I could come up with a mathcing front set, I might use them for a nice shelfer build.

Since nobody mentioned a date, these are in a Trinity 1992 catalog. I'd need to dig more to see if they came out earlier. I do know that Trinity had blue ano Clod shocks back in 1990, but they have a different design.
