That is the one thing that I believe you have mixed up, I don't think that the Qstate car is in the issue that dual is referring to. If you still want me to scan that article, let me know.

Okie Dokie....... to be honest, the conversion looks like a bit of hack job to me, at least the rear shock mounts are. Just simple retangular aluminum with a couple of holes.

actually, i want to copy the hornet. god, i can't believe i just said that.
i have always wanted to make a copy of it since the first time i saw it. to me, it just looked really cool. i have located the chattanooga chew decals, and i believe i have found the mrp asa camaro body i need for it. remember when we talked on the phone and i asked if you had one? that's what i need it for. although, i'm not gonna get a hornet until i have the decals and the body in hand. the only reason i want one is to build this car.
Too bad I sold that body before I joined the forum, could/would have been yours. Had the decals too, at least from Procuts. Keep me posted and let me know about that other stuff we PMed about. Thank you sir.

well, i have just been gutted. i have been watching a set of the pro-cut chattanooga chew decals on ebay for quite awhile. i've been waiting to find that body before i bought them. i just went into my ebay, and they're no longer for sale. i'm hoping the seller just pulled them and didn't sell them. it never fails. that's what happens you procrastinate too long. i e-mailed the guy, so we'll see what happens.
i got a reply from the ebay seller that had those decals. apparently he removed a few items from his ebay store due to re-organizing to straighten out some duplication problems. he looked to make sure he still had them, and he did. so, he re-listed for me, and now i got my decals.
i'm looking for a picture for, i think, chris doeseck's pan car. if i remember right, it was in a 92 or 93 issue as a protoform ad. the body was mainly black, but had pink, blue, and green stripes down the sides. any help would be apprieciated.
if you check the dates on these related links, you will see i have been planning this build for a very long time. it's just not been on the front burner on my list of things to do . :wink:

soooooo glad to see this build!!!! this is what i loved about rc back in the day. alot of people had frogs, hornets/hoppers,and other offroad buggies set up with car or truck bodies. very cool 8)

For instance the long Trackmaster diff shaft, one of mine has it and I yes of course the longer threaded end makes simple clear sense but the need for the screw on the opposite side kind of perplexed me until now :D
Does anyone have the issue of RCCA with the look at Jack Johnson's prototype LXT that won the nationals? I'd really like to see that again

Here's the a review of the RC10 from the very first issue of Radio Control Car Action Magazine in 1986. I remember reading this article for the first time when I was a kid. I saved up money for a year and finally bought the RC10 kit in 1987 I think.
