Delta stuff

Post by tomolupus »

Hello

I´ve got some Delta spareparts that needs to be id:d
some screws that have an unusual head needs a flat screwdriver with a rounded tip ?
Anybody know to which model they belong.

Those screws were called High Torque screws. I think these were used at several Delta cars but were much more expensive then usual screws. My Delta Super Phaser 1/12th also is using some of them but I think they were available as 8-32" only. Maybe they were aircraft grade screws.

An example of the screws is in the bag in #1 photo and further down the photo's is the Hi-torque driver for the Hi-torque fasteners.

Thanks for the info guys.
Impressive as always :D
I can understand how the screws would be stronger that way.

I have the wings they showed on the link to.

The red parts in package look to be the servo horns for the Futaba FP-S7 servo's. The package with the wires appears to be the wing mounts which my CK800SJ uses with the red wing you show in another picture. Nice early parts you've got there.

Nice Delta CK760. Part SW 1846 is the steering pushrod end that mounts on the servo horn.

This is my CK750 SS showing the steering pushrod end:

Thanks for the info oca1 and a very fine car you have there.

Are those rod ends rare? I seem to have a couple packets of those, but with SG header cards..
