Post by hugger19 »

this is the car i won off ebay and was missing the correct important peices. first i have to give thanks for the parts for this resto (noony) its a light gold a stamp car, fiberglass battery strap, rear shock cups, 7 ribbed front tires, no lettered tires all around(rear tires look to be different than my other car side wall looks correct with the mold line around it but pattern is different any help?), diamond wing buttons, correct front/rear shocks with the notched pistons, correct 6 gear with the c clip, edinger rc10 stock motor, thick front/rear shock towers and twin servo savers. (rear wing is a 6184)

LOL! Looks good, but your battery cup is offset, would look better with a second one and have the battery perpendicular to the tub lenght. Then of course you would need to source one of these ever elusive GRP battery straps...

Those rear tires are not from the Associated kits as far as I can recall, if I remember correctly I believe those were some aftermarket ones sold by either Twinn-K, Proline or Parma (or possibly other mfr.). They have that stepped knobby.

I like it.... has an honest 'used but not abused' look to it :) Will you finish it off with a bodyshell - painted or left clear?
