Mounting your ESC high, using RC10T 1993 as an example.

1. This Mod requires x4 4/40 x ¾” screws, and x1 extra #6334 battery box and leaving behind the stock x4 4/40 x ½” screws for other projects.
2. Disassembly of the rear #7353 shock strut, and #6325 transmission plate are the minimum disassembly steps of your RC10T. Note, you can always remove transmission if need be for step #6 below. Your shocks you do not have to remove, just leave them.
3. Unscrew the stock x4 4/40 x ½” screws that hold your rear #7353 shock strut to the rear bulkhead, set aside, we will not use these screws in below step #8.
4. Remove the #6325 transmission brace, this is for seeing where to drill x4 holes into your extra #6334 battery box.
5. Take extra #6334 battery box, and flip it. Hold upside down against where the new mounting holes are going to be drilled, against the #7353 shock strut, and above the treads of your #6273 steel ball ends. The 4/40 x ¾” screws will go through the newly drilled holes and will mount the extra #6334 battery box and #7353 shock strut to the rear bulkhead.
6. With a bright light source, try and back light above, and around the transmission, in every angle possible so that it shines through the x4 empty mounting holes onto the back of the extra #6334 battery box. Mark the holes, by looking from the front of the truck to the area under the #6334 battery box.
7. Take the marked extra #6334 battery box, and drill x4 new holes in the battery box.
8. Reassemble, and enjoy that huge surface area. All my bodies never touch the heat sinks on my newly transplanted ESC’s position.

Oh, and the installing of your main battery is not compromised. All the pictures do not show this, trust me no problem getting battery in and out.

I did not like my avatar anyway, so I will create a new on. Yours is width 130 x height 104. Mine is 130 x 400. I'll fix it if I can. Specifications on the site was Maximum dimensions; width: 130 pixels, height: 400 pixels, file size: 8.00 , and that's what I did have. How is in now??? <<<<<

Yes, it's kind of a weird set up, but I think it's always been like that. I guess the people that created the format for these sites figured it didn't matter how far down it went as long as it wasn't too wide. Y'ernat Al and a couple of others have theirs that way. It's not too bad unless you make a really short one line post, but it takes up half a page because of that.
