In honor of my birthday... a little color in my life

Post by asashaw »

Well it was my birthday a few days ago and since the woman said I could do anything I wanted... I opened a gold box rc10 and got to building. 8) Well a few minutes into it I noticed that this open box that was supposedly only missing the front shocks had a really messed up chassis and some bad parts... Well I decided to use this almost mint vintage blue tub. See my post to view these strange plastic parts:

http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3057&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Anyways, I used .71 shocks with travel limiters on the front end and the top holes on the shock tower like Jammin Jay's Dad said to! I have to look through my parts for a new transmission case, and I could use some help if anyone has a turnbuckle like the one in the picture about 1.5 inches long or slightly longer and I can cut it, as long as it looks the same. Thanks for your help.

I have no clue what the mark behind the battery cups is, must be a glare.

Hey asashaw is that blue chassis painted, powder coded, or anodized ?
It looks great. :)
Hi my name is Mike and I'm a Chromaholic, my wheels have been chrome free for over a year, thanks to everyone that made fun of them.

The older I get , the faster I was.

What other colors were there in the day? Is there an online guide to all the rc10 editions produced?
