History/background on RC10 team car ad??

Hi,
Is there anyone here on RC10talk that knows the history/background on this ad/paint scheme?
Team Associated have the pic both in color and black & white on there website.
I have taken this photo of my old toolbox.

Close to Cliff Leff paint scheme? Team Losi did have and still has their factory drivers paint scheme in their box art cars.

Hi,
Is there anyone here that knows the history/background on this ad/paint scheme?
Team Associated have the pic both in color and black & white on there website.
I have taken this photo of my old toolbox.

Following my recent thread about the COMCOM Kyosho Lazer carbon tub, I wanted to present this old dog still sitting in its '94 juice. I plan to restore it with white ball cups all around (still need to locate them), white shock parts (help again...

Just spoken to Stephen at fiber Lyte and unfortunately they haven't got any of the tub moulds for the YZ10 so they cannot make any of the tubs anymore :( :cry:

Do you notice any handling differences between the RC10 graphite team car and the RC10 team car with tub chassis (both fitted with white nylon parts throughout)?
I haven't driven either yet. Been a while...greetings all :)

I would say the tub chassis has more flex and probably a lot bigger sweet spot for setup

Here is one of my newest additions to my RC10 collection.
Got it from a buy now auction right off the bay. I think it is a nice modified car and I got the information that it was driven by a former Italien Team Associated driver.

What was the reasoning back in the day for trimming down the chassis. Weight only?

weight was a factor but also being able to get the body down as low as possible helped airflow. You needed all the advantages you could get before the battery...
