Nothing wrong with using those 1s packs together. Same effect as saddle pack.
i saw a good price (imo) on an smc saddle lipo to use in my yz10 at the nats. but, the jumper wire looks kinda short. does anyone have one of these packs, and a yz10? do they fit?
even a measurement of the jumper wire length would probably work.

They will almost drop right into a YZ10 870C. I run 4900 SMC's in my B44 and with a little modification they will slip right into the Yoke. First the jumper wire will have to face forward, then the motor side battery hold downs are almost a perfect...
so my car arrived today sporting a thunder power 5000 mAh 1 cell 3.7v and i was wondering if i bought an identical pack could i then use them as a saddle pack the pack reads charge as a single pack.
was speaking with a good mate today and the subject came up, we both use ip branded lipo's and have had the problem with pack's swelling up and splitting. we are wondering how to stop this and also what is a brand of saddle that slot's straight into...

when and if i ever use my 870c, this is the pack i'll be using.
$40 for a saddle lipo is pretty good in my opinion. now i haven't used their lipos yet, but their nimh pack worked very well.
