i posted this on rc tech but i think you guys will know more about what im trying to build here
its made from 1/8'' aluminum and a few sheets of UHMW (self lubricating industrial plastic)
im going to use a xxx or xx retrofit tranny and if it works good ill race it in the stock class at my local track yes they will let me i asked

thanks ive wanted to build this for a long time never thought i could make the rear hubs turned out that was the easy part

looking good .. just make sure it dosent bind when compressed .. pop the spring off and conect the shock
also are you going to bend the front for the kick up ? and if you put a slight bend length wise along the sides it will add alot of strangth to the chassy it would be easy if you have a metal brake

idk why it looks flat (it looks like that to me too) in the pic but it has just a little less kick up than a xx

That is because there is Zero kick there, follow the chassis line from mid to back.
I like it, when I saw the first picture I said WTF in my head. I still like it.

You are going to need some sort of chassis bracing (like a top plate, etc) or that thing is going to fold like an accordion on it's first good front end hit.

got more done today i cant afford to just buy ae front wheels so im adding bearings to my xx wheels i was going to use a xx top plate but i lost it somewhere so im going to have to figer something else out for that

This has definitely got that 'prototype' feel about it but it's certainly coming together.....

im also working on building a vac table for custom bodys just have to find a source for lexan or a cheaper substitute

i just got the battery tray done i dont know if im going to use the purple brackets or not it seems like a slow way to mount it

well plans changed a little bit i got parts i was not expecting and just went with it and got it running so here it is the right camber link is not screwed in and is not in the correct spot i forgot about it be fore i took the pic
