I picked this up for $9.99 from a seller in France because I liked the unusual lines and kind of brutish look, I also think it would look great with a wing added...it was listed on eBay as a "Frewer Mercury" body. Does anybody know anything about this body?

Possibly an aftermarket body for a Mugen Mercury??? Doing a quick look, there seems to be a lot of similar lines.....

Thanks Alex, I think you nailed it. Glad it's an aftermarket body because it certainly looks better than the original Mugen Mercury body (IMHO anyway)!

Here's my first attempt at a new body for my RC10T. The guys at the hobby shop said they dont make flat paint for lexan bodies. So I painted on the outside to get it as flat as possible. I know the paint to get jacked up but I dont care. I washed...

Ok! here is my question:

I have an uncut Pro-line Mirage SS body. I'm thinking of making a mold of it and redesign the mold slightly . Like an air scoop for example
Is it possible to (by using the mold) massage the uncut buggy body with a heat gun...

I came across some very good step-by-step photos of a guy in Japan who made a mold for a Kyosho Javelin body and had some relica bodies made.
Unfortunately,all of the accompanied text was in Japanese,but it isn't too hard to get the jist of what...

So long story short, I had some over spray on a lexan body and I used some goo gone to take it off, which it did. The problem is it sort of etched the lexan a bit. Has anyone ever successfully polished a lexan body to bring back the glossy...

Thanks, all good ideas. I received this body unpainted used so it already had some light scratches on it. I may try the clay bar idea to see how it works. I'm not going to go crazy about it though.

I'm building a hybrid car, B2/RC10-ish......flipped stealth for a mid motor set-up. I'm trying to figure out a good body to run on this thing, and want to base the chassis on the shape of the body if I can, for a couple reasons.
