I have heard some rumors of late about horizon and losi.

I can't give my source but lets just say I have heard rumors the Losi brand might be sold off from horizon. I don't want to reveal too much but as a racer I think having Losi back in the hands of someone who cares would be great for the hobby as a whole.

What do you guys think of Losi possibly being back in the hands of people passionate about the hobby?

They just made some changes that makes searching for parts a lot more difficult and pointless when using the Horizon Hobby site.
Here is what you can't search for: (using a3078 as example)
1. THE ACTUAL PART NUMBER, like a3078. Nothing will come...

I was under the impression that the junior series was the entry level car/truck, with bushings rather than bearings. The only Junior I saw BITD was my brothers junior-2. it had a grey gearbox with those odd 2-part bushings for the diff and...

Just tried to search for ASC at Horizon, and apparently they are not carrying ANY of their products anymore. Anybody know when this happened? :?

I guess Losi wins out since they basically are Horizon now.....just like Tower/GP doesn't carry Losi....

It probably doesn't have anything to do with Losi, but it obviously has to do with money in some way. Horizon might want more from each sale, Associated might want to pay less, each might want more control over the supply, etc.

I'd say it's more...

Wondering what people think on here now that Team Associated has switched to Horizon Hobby and left Great Plains/Tower Hobbies?
The local dealer I work with loves it. He doesn't care for Tower much.

Anyone notice the amount of Rangers there are on eBay lately? I count 3 this morning and only on the first few pages of a vintage rc search ! I personally can only hope, because this is one of the cars I really want to be re released! Tamiya has...

I know there are delays and backorders on pretty much everything these days but wondering if there is any news on something upcoming as far as Tamiya 80s reissues? Kinda bummed I missed the black Beetle reissue but Im not paying $500 for one either....

They already have Losi, so it makes sense.

Let's be honest, Trinity doesn't have the following that they did back in the day.

And I'd rather see Horizon buy them than the name fade away.

Has anyone ever talked to them. I call about some XXX Kinwald parts, they transfered me to Tech support. I got a jerk!! he told me I shouldnt expect them to make parts for a ten year old car. And I should buy a newer car people dont race cars that...
