Re: My TC4 Build
after i installed my electronics into the car its a heavy pig so i had to put it on a diet .. the car is 110 grams over weight so out come the scales
i took the steel diff out of the fron and installed the plastic one and saved 7 grams
changed the rear alum cvd to the plastic cvd and saved 3 grams
changed the front cvd from steel to alum and saved 4 grams
found a team carbon fiber chassis on ebay and saved 59 grams
but found out i needed a diffrent motor mount

Re: My TC4 Build
i had a tc5 motor plate that i thought i could make it work
after mocking it up it just had to many problems so i ended up haveing to make a motor mount .. not the easest thing to do with no template .. just a set of calapers, drill press, hand file and the old parts
after i had it installed i found that the 50t 64p pinion hit the motor screws so back at it and milled 2 mm off the 4mm plate

and seeing that my eyesight isnt what it use to be i installed a lighting system on the new body
looks cool running at the track
