Can someone 3D print this for me?

Post by RC104ever »

Hey everyone, so I need a bit of help please. My kids electric pocket bike lost a part and parts are literally impossible to find. Thanks to R Cane we were able to secure a second bike and cobble together a fully working bike.

Unfortunately the gas tank cover (which covers the electrical port) has fallen off somewhere and I can't find a replacement anywhere.

So I'm hoping someone could 3D print one for me and then I can just screw it on. A few spares couldn't hurt :)

The link to the manual and some pics are here. I can get some rough measurements and additional pics if needed. Any help you guys can give me would be appreciated! I'm willing to pay for materials and time if needed. Thanks in advance

I thought of that but wouldn't know where to start. I thought of using a piece of lexan and cutting one out then painting it but wanted to see if there are any wizards here that could help me out first!

If you can get me dimensions, I can quickly model it for you. You can then take the stl file and upload to shapeways for print, or otherwise send to where ever to print.

I can try and measure it for you later today. It's not that big - maybe about 2 inches across and 1.5 inches down.

If you just want to get something to cover the electrical socket, why not look at using a rubber foot of a char or table leg?? Your local hardware store should have these rubber feet available in quite a few different sizes..

Just a thought..
