Oh wow... and I was just looking for a new ESC and they tended to be my go-to company in the past.. :(

I do find it somewhat Ironic that long ago the big two were Novak and Tekin and then Tekin went out of business... then came back. Now it's Novak's turn I guess. Although their lineup really has not been that exciting over the past few years I must say..

I guess I should buy one of their last ESC's as a parting goodbye... This almost feels like Associated or Losi is closing :(
Losi - Jrx2, Pro, Jr2, Pro SE, JrxT, JrT, LXT, NXT, XXKE, XXTG+
Mini - T, LST, LST2, Crawler
Micro - Trekker, SCT, T
Crawlers - Trx4 Defender, Bootleg Bruiser Shelf Queen
-Bashers under contruction- Jrx2

IIRC Tekin came back with the people that bought out the rights. and company.

Sucks they are closing, i dont run them. loved them in my brushed days. But sucks a long time company s closing period.

(devil inside want to know when the warehouse sale is since the last one they had. stuff was like dirt dirt cheap. hearing 10-50 bucks for cars they had, under 25 for ESC's)

Wondering if they will sell the trademark to TT or any other company...

Honestly I hope not, I would rather see them fade away instead of becoming just a rebranding label.

The end of an era, I guess (Pat's and Mine - private joke).

Then again for the past couple of years I was wondering how the business was going, there was ZERO novak presence in WE, and I couldn't spot a single A-mainer at a race running Novak gear. I know racing isn't the biggest part of the RC business, but the biggest part of RC business is owned by RTR stuff anyway, and Novak wasn't playing there either...

What's so so so wrong about it is that they were amongst the first ones to embrace the Brushless revolution in the RC car segment. I remember when Drescher was the only one running BL (Novak!) at the IFMAR EP DTM worlds and got into temp cut-off territory as he was in the top3  when was this, 2006 - this was the last time a brushed mill won, I think some ridiculous wind like a 7x1, probably a V2 Orion? Novak completely failed to transform that early adoption feat into a market advantage...

Anyway, sad stuff. I feel older than ever :(

I'm sad to have read this yesterday, too. Novak has always been my choice for ESCs, but I must admit that 90% of mine are vintage. I hope everything will work out for everyone at Novak.
