Thanks guys, It has been really tough for us as he was a family member, not just a cat.

I saved him from being dropped off at the pound 10 years ago and he has been with us ever since. He would have been somewhere between 14 - 16 years old so he had a pretty good run.

He was a pretty nasty cat at first when we got him but he slowly became a loving and affectionate animal. My wife didn't like cats but Rocca slowly stole her heart. He would always be with us and hang out wherever we were, watching with his big green eyes. He loved to sit and check out the grocery shopping as it was taken out of the bags and put away. He liked to steal your seat if you got up and when you returned he'd look at you like it's mine now. He also used to come and sit on a chair at the dinner table while we ate. He was a good friend who was always there, made you smile and brightened up your day.

Spend a few extra minutes with your loved ones each day. They could be here one day and gone the next.

Sorry to hear mate, our animal family members are always in our hearts, whether they are around or not...

Doubly sad to have it happen on International Cat Day....... :(

Please pass on my condolences to the rest of the family.

Hi RJ,

I am sorry for your loss, I can see he was a wonderful cat.

They sure make life complete, I couldn't imagine not having my furry mates.

I look at them now and they are being silly as usual.

They brighten every day!

Regards, Dave. :)
