Imax B6 voltage display?

Hey guys. Since I've had my B6 clone charger I've been wondering about the current voltage display. There's a discrepancy between the main display and the individual cell display. For example, the main display may read 8.39-8.4v while the cell display reads 4.08v /4.08v which clearly doesn't add up. For anyone using this charger, is this normal? Why the difference? Thanks.

I think it's "normal" and mainly due to lower quality cells or old batteries, they sit there nearly fully charged forever and take ages to finish or fail to "balance"

I finally have someone that wants my 2 electric 1/4 cars hey wants 1 RTR can a EVX-2 run the 18Volt motor if I take and make a Y to take 2 leads to 1 lead.
I figure 2 of my traxxas batts should work ?????? Thanks JohnnySr

my next question is does the rpms go up from runnin a 6 cell to a 7 cell. Also if so what is the rated speed of the motor as advertised at 7.2 volts

I need to get a lipo voltage tester and want to know what you all have had good luck with. I know they are simple devices and it should not matter much but I want it to be accurate and durable.

I have one of these in the pit box for a quick go/no-go check of the battery.

These are great if you mount them so that they are visible through a 'window' in the model. The visual change from green to red gives you nudge to bring the car...

I was looking over that image of all the Le Mans motors, in particular the rated voltage for each one, and was wondering what physically enables a motor like the 360 Gold for instance to use up to 8.4V but not the 480 Gold? Construction-wise, both...

You are right. I really think that info is not right.

Really any motor should handel 8.4v more so the Alloy end bells ones.

Too me the strongest motor i think is the 240SB the spa motors were no better as i raced them all.
