Holy cow! That’s crazy. Looks great and way too fast haha!

I built one back in the day and you wouldn’t believe the amount of people that gave me #### about destroying a rare truck etc.

For all you peeps doing these swaps, I readily accept all leftover 3-speed motor/trans parts! :) Seriously, PM me.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Thanks Doug!.... it runs strong.... big power but hard to slow down at the moment.... working on brakes but might go with a chute.... it just keeps rolling forever.

The pic is a bit blurry and all, it’s a QRC transmission from a Kyosho rig. That gave it two speeds forward and two reverse. Pig slow

Brakes, who needs brakes??
They just slow you down.

Anyway, it's funny that you're thinking about brakes after the truck is running.
I'm PROUD of you Derek! You're a true gear head.

Found a body that will fit and looks just like the "Outlaw ll"....(only true F13 purists will know what that is)...problem is its $50 and change and I just don't have the scratch right now....for those people wondering how it got this far....I built the truck for a guy few yrs ago, stock...it is actually a Mountain Rider but Bruiser sounds much better....I haven't heard from him and got bored this summer and cut into it....hope he ain't mad

Made some changes, converted tranny to single speed, went from 16t to 14t clutchbell, added a 3rd servo for brakes, redid the exhaust setup, just ran the dog piss out of it....43mph on 10% nitro with 18% oil....tried 50% went no faster, runs perfect....just need a 1980 Chevy body to paint like "Outlaw ll" from Friday the 13th Part 2.
