So it was quite literally ‘just’ high enough to accommodate the diff cover etc. I still might use some washers but we shall see closer to final assembly.

Throwing a couple more pieces together just to see what it looks like, love how it is coming together.

The battery post holes were too shallow so I marked off the depth of the existing hole from an original with masking tape and proceeded to drill out the holes (high speed, low pressure)…like butter lol

I believe the original WCS had black battery posts but this is more of a proof of concept car at this point. Just be careful when screwing in the posts, they are VERY easy to strip, slow and steady.

Another quick update after getting the motor mount all the way from Thailand. Quality and fit are perfect, I would say the only downside was the cost at around $80USD before shipping.

I will also update this soon with the eBay user I’d in case someone else stumbles across this post one day HOWEVER I believe the same entity is on Facebook and might be less expensive through that.

Some more mock up with Pavidis style rear 3d printed arms with rear diff and rear belt in to get a sense of fitment.

Might help if I put the arms on the right way lol, digging through boxes to see if I have any hinge pins that will work, expect another update soon 😁

So far it is looking awesome. It is very similar to what I did with my yz10.

Thanks so much for the kind words, learning a lot trying to find non-oem pieces which has been challenging and rewarding all at the same time.

Came to realize that I completely screwed up the arms, if you look at my previous pictures they are actually 2 sets of front arms…ugggg
Thankfully I had an older set of correct rear arms to use as semi-placeholders until I can locate the rears via a 3d print option.

Friends in Thailand again came through, hinge pins seem pretty hard to find, these 93’s are the closest I could find BUT once fitted they are actually about 1mm to short…not sure if its the arms or the incorrect pins but either way good enough for now but I will likely shave down the arms just slightly to get the remaining eclips on.

Found some non-OEM team Suzuki bits….they are still more placeholders than anything else while I continue to look for 3d printed versions in the future.

The friends from Thailand came through again with the hard to find front diff bits. Honestly I think at this point almost all the hard to find parts have been built by them. If they are reading this, I cannot thank them enough for producing all these parts!

In full transparency the diff rings are not the same fitment on the new outdrives and I’ll replace them if I can find the correct ones.

Once completed and mounted it was a tight squeeze to get it in, had to loosen some screws but jamming it in and realized the belts I have are definitely not correct…another thing to look into. The 3d printed bits as you can see in one of the pics with the gap aren’t quite as forgiving but I am hoping once I mount the top plate and screw it all in, everything will fall into place.
