Hello All, it's been a while since I posted on RC10talk. My friend Rainbow R RC invited me to talk about my RC10 addiction and to show RCers what a "vintage" RC car is all about on his channel. This is an unboxing of the RC10 DS kit from Japan. This is the racer spec kit with teflon-coated shocks and full bearings. I think most Associated kits sold in Japan were all racing spec since parts and hop-ups were harder to come by. Mine didn't...

Yes, it's normal. Associated made variations of the kit. There were 4 associated bodies that were offered with the DS but the racer kit(the smallest of the boxes) lacked a body....

so I scored this on craigslist and it seems like the more I search the more I find this is the one that everybody wanted back in the day. It even came with the hottest engine O.S. had back then the .21RX-B nib and even has a really cool O.S. engine...

We are getting a large shipment of vintage parts in from overseas in the next week or so. I mean really large, largest ever.
It is mainly Losi parts but there is RPM and Trinity parts as well. This deal was in the works since the first of the year....
