Wrist pin removal/g-clip help

Post by ZED32 »

I am replacing the conrod on my OS Max .12 CZ-Z. How am I supposed to remove the wrist pin without destroying it? It feels good still, and I cant find replacements for the life of me. I also dont see any g clips on either end that are supposed to be there? Does anyone know; A: are they supposed to be there? B: where can I get new ones if they are? I have looked online for any clips from OS that might fit, but my lack of nitro knowledge is letting me down here. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

The CZ series don't use clips, they have nylon ends on the wristpin that keep it centered. If you pick up a new wristpin you will get the nylon ends. You should be able to just push that pin right out.

Thanks! Any idea where I might find one in the US? I'm only finding CZ wrist pins in Canada (and a few other countries) but shipping is crazy.

First one that popped up for me, I don't know anything about this shop but they say they have one and if you type in multiples it says there are not enough which to me would rule out a shady shop

I Googled their address, and they're an actual brick-and-mortar hobby shop.
